Studio Rules & Policies

Booking & Deposits
  • Sessions booked only with a signed agreement
  • 50% deposit required upfront (non-refundable after 48 hrs notice)
  • Full balance due before mastering/export

Cancellations / Rescheduling
  • Cancel ≥ 48 hrs → deposit kept as admin fee
  • Reschedules subject to availability

Equipment & Gear
  • No food/drinks near console
  • Artists must use provided plugins only (no cracked software)
  • Damage → client/artist covers repair/replacement cost

Noise & Community
  • Keep levels below 85 dB at property line after 10 PM (Burgersfort council limit)
  • No loud rehearsals outside studio walls

Health & Safety
  • COVID-19 protocol: masks optional, sanitizer stations at entry
  • First-aid kit & fire extinguisher on site

Copyright & Clearance
  • Artists guarantee they hold all rights or have SAMRO/SAMPRA clearance for tracks
  • Studio not liable for infringement claims

Session Etiquette ("Game-changing" vibe)
  • Arrive prepared — demos / ideas ready
  • Phones on silent / DND
  • Constructive feedback only — no gatekeeping
  • Respect tech crew — they're there to make magic happen

Data & Deliveries
  • Final mixes delivered via cloud link within 7 days
  • Stems kept for 30 days then archived
